What are these so called GURUs teaching you

There are hundreds of youtube channels and videos about GURUs, their teachings / preachings blah blah blah. Don't approach or go to a GURU / Organization without you doing a self study or Swadhaya

Swadhay (Swa + Adhaya) means you study yourself. What is that you want in your life. Why are you going into spirituality. It may be one of the reasons which i have stated before.  A good life, health, wealth, girl friend etc.

But a GURU cannot give you all those; and you can easily manage to get all those by yourself; if you put your energy to appropriate goal which you are aspiring.

For e.g. If you need a good girl to get married then i will tell you there is no use of you sitting in some ashram and doing meditation. You have to invest your time in searching for a good partner; it may take time and you have to put your energy into it.

After doing a real Swadhay self study; there may be no need for any GURU.

Honestly all GURUs are teaching one and the same your goal is the same; if you go to an American GURU or a GURU sitting on HIMALAYAS. You can travel either in truck, car, Aeroplance, bullock cart, you will reach the same destination.

I will re-iterate once again,
If one is destined to progress in spiritual path then definitely he will get a suitable path.

In the meantime; what are all GURU's teaching you.

Breaking you small mind and merging with the great MIND: What does that mean, is there any meaning in this; All GURU's think that each one of the person (HUMAN) has assumed that  BODY is everything and a GURU tries to break this BOND. Until unless you get detached with BODY you cannot attain the so called freedom. The first step is ENLIGHTENMENT.  MOKSHA is different from ENLIGHTENMENT.

SRI SRI: Describes ENLIGHTENMENT is a joke and sometimes i feel it is TRUE. What will you do knowing that you are not the BODY and you are something else.

Sri Guru Raghavendra Swami on ENLIGHTENMENT: A sanyasi is the one who loves this world more than anything and he will do anything to cure people of their sorrows.  (That is the reason Guru Raghavendra Swami is so favorite with all people.)

Please ponder on the topic below;

Can you get detached from the BODY leaving everything currently you poses. Break all your limitations and become a Universal being than a Earthly being.

If you cannot then spirituality is not for you.

You may need real spirituality it in future; till then you can continue doing pranayama, yogic exercises roaming around for GURUs etc.

Pitfall:
You may go around roaming for GURU's without actually practicing what a GURU has actually told you and waste all your life.

Spiritual journey pitfalls and failures

Spirituality

Today everyone is behind spirituality; almost there is a shop opened in every city of India telling you they can teach spirituality.

But let me tell you that; half of the people who get into spirituality, don't know what they are doing and what they are looking for in spirituality.  Before getting into any path or search a GURU, the first step that you need to do is self study.  Study and ponder on what you need in your life. Just don't take the plunge without knowing what you are doing.

Why people go into spirituality

(I will provide you lot of links from different people here to explain what i mean when i am writing something below)

Mostly people come to spirituality for the following reasons ( I am right 90% of time :) ).
1. People are sick and any of the doctors are failing to provide solutions
2. People who are poor and they want to get rich.
3. People who think that they did not get what they wanted in life
    a. Love failures; where Boy / Girl after getting betrayed from a Girl / Boy.
4. People who want to make a living in the organization and somehow follow the path.
5. People who don't know anything and want to venture into spirituality and some one has influenced them

The spiritual path is very difficult and SAI BABA has told that; you need
SHRADDA and SABURI; which means that in spiritual path you need a lot of patience and lot of concentration in the path.

Swamy Rama tells in his lectures; In spirituality if you want to progress you need to do the following;

"Satdheerga Kale Sat Karya  nirantara"

You need to do good deeds for a long time. The long time may be one lifetime / multiple life times.

A TRUE GURU / TRUE DISCIPLE in spiritual path

Swamy Rama about a TRUE disciple
Swmay Rama tells that in Kaliyuga it is very difficult to find a TRUE disciple and so is to find a TRUE GURU.

OM Swamy Story:
I remember reading some pages from Om Swami autobiography. He tells that he was a rich man and was supporting his GURU with all his earnings. One day all his money was finished and his GURU just threw him out of his ashram in Rishikesh.  That is when Om Swami became serious and the final push to the toughest path of spirituality started.

Qualities of a Guru in a nutshell:
Please go through the video of Sri M to understand what the Guru would look like if you don't know or when you are seeking a Guru in your life. This video is as close explanation of a Guru as it gets. Be prepared when you want to see a Guru. (From minute 18:00 to 30:00)

Definition of a Guru (As close to as it gets)

Please don't be SAD if you feel that you don't have any GURU; it is better that you don't a have a GURU.  There is a universal power which is guiding you and it will guide you no matter what happens.

Pits Falls:
Guru hopping or Organizations Hopping: Some people including myself thought that one GURU is better than other GURU. What one person teaches is superior than other.  But let me tell you some you can attain the highest if you are destined to. If you are not destined then no matter what you do you cannot attain the ultimate.

Some excerpts from some famous people about pitfalls in finding GURUs.

Himalayan Institute Swamy Rama:
Swamy Rama tells that; don't be mantra collector; people generally go from one GURU to another GURU thinking that; one mantra is better than other mantra. But that is not so. It is the same eggs in different baskets.

Sri Sri
Question: There was a question to Guruji asking if a person can follow multiple GURU's.
Sri Sri Answer: It is difficult to handle ONE GURU; how can one handle second GURU;

Unnamed
Question:  Can we follow multiple GURUs.
Answer:  For one person there can be multiple GURU's; example Gyana GURU; BODHA GURU.

Always follow single path / single GURU. Please test the GURU / path as much as you want before taking that path as final path. A disciple also has the choice in which path he would go or he likes to go. It is like there are 100 shops selling same eggs; you have the choice of choosing from which basket you want to get eggs. (Hypermarket, local shop etc).

But always keep in mind that you need to have a one on one with such GURU. You should be able to talk to him on daily basis; GURU should have sufficient time for you to listen to your questions and answers in such a way that you can understand. GURU has already treaded that path he can provide you the best thing which suits.

Don't go to mass gathering where people are rolling on the floors etc.

Reading UEVENTS in Linux UserSpace {Android}

ueventd
    ⚬ ueventd creates and 'poll' netlink socket.
        ueventd_main [init/ueventd.c]

    ⚬ read kernel event message -> parse -> handle
        handle_device_event [init/devices.c]
            -> device_changed [init/init.c]
                -> queue_device_triggers [init/init_parser.c]
                            |
            +---------------+
            |
            v
        : search action list to know what to do for this event.
          searching action which name is device-added/removed-[device node].
          [device node] is from 'DEVPATH' variable of uevent message.

    ⚬ action list : list declared at [init_parser.c]
        • builtin action (added by 'queue_builtin_action [init/init_parser.c]')
            ex. property_init, wait_for_coldboot_done etc.
        • from script (added by 'parse_action [init/init_parser.c]')
            section "on device-added-[device path] / on device-removed-[device path]"
            ex.
                [init.rc]
                on device-added-/dev/block/mmcblk0p18
                    exec /system/bin/sh /system/bin/hello_mmc.shother daemons (ex usbd)
    ⚬ create and 'poll' netlink socket.

 The following code below in the device driver sends a UEVENT to the
 udev to create nodes.

/* seend uevents to udev, so it'll create the /dev node*/
  class_device_create(memory_class, NULL, dev_num, NULL, "memory%d", 1);

Maha Meru Temple - Yercaud

Yercaud which is the poor man's Ooty, was one of the most memoriable outings. One of the places which i will never forget is the World's biggest Maha Meru Temple (As of today). It located at a distance of around 7 KMS from Yercaud. The road to Maha Meru Temple is well maintained. The lush greenery and coffe plantations takes your breath away.

From the hustle bustle of the city, you will feel much relaxed and refreshed with the fresh air. Your energy will increase three fold in such an atmosphere.

The World's biggest Maha Meru Temple is located in the midst of lush greenery. The temple welcomes you with a big statue of Lord Shiva.

LORD BUDDHA is right in the entrance, which is different and it pleasantly surprises you. Buddha and Vendanta/Tantra combined. I hope people take it in the right sense, all enlightened ones have no differentiation of seers/philosopies it is all one.

What a magnificiant GOD, you feel like seeing the MOTHER for a long time.  Once you enter the temple, the relaxation begins and you feel the presence of the MOTHER everywhere, it was such a nice experience in there. I could not leave that place, felt as though i have come home after a long time. Divine Mother's grace is such.

Yercaud Trip

It was the weekend of 19th Oct and we were wondering where to go, we suddenly decided to go to Yercaud the hill station located at around 200Kms from Bangalore. The route to Yercaud is as follows
1. Bangalore
2. Hosur
3. Krishnagiri
4. Dharmapuri
5. Salem
6. Yercaud

We started around 9:30 AM in the morning and as soon we were on the bangalore - attibele flyover our CAR was crusing at 100KMPH. And once we crossed HOSUR on the TOLL ROAD we were CRUZING close to 110KMS which was my first time to go in that speed. But believe me it is always safe to go at 80 ~ 90 KMPH without much trouble.

By 1:30 PM we were  in SALEM, we stayed at HOTEL GRAND ESTANCIA in SALEM as we could not get any hotel in YERCAUD due to the RUSH and we did not like to stay in some normal hotels.

The roads are so beautifully maintained that, i was ashamed to tell i belonged to the IT Capital of India which has pathetic roads which is worsening day by day.

The hotel is located on the Bangalore Salem Highway. The hotel staff were very nice and co-ordial. We were very happy with the service. What we observed was there were a lot of people from NORTH EAST in the GRAND ESTANCIA SALEM, which looked quite ridiculous. Nowadays it seems very common for people in NORTH EAST come SOUTH in search of jobs.

We spent the whole of that day we stayed there as the ambience was beautiful and we did not like to venture out.

Next day morning, we ventured to YERCAUD in the morning and what we saw was really amazing and mind blowing, we were completely mesmerized,
